Youth Work Overview

Blend Youth Project continues to offer a wide range of activities and support services designed to enrich the lives of young people, helping them navigate the complexities of today’s world, while developing the skills they need to enhance their life opportunities and build positive relationships.

Our focus is on enabling young people to become more active, make informed health and wellbeing choices, express themselves creatively, develop and engage with others, and participate in community projects. We are dedicated to providing youth programmes across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, both at Blend Youth Hubs and through street and project-based initiatives.

We exist to provide young people with a place of belonging, of hope, of respect and support, and passionately believe in the role of youth work as an effective method of engaging with and facilitating better outcomes for the most vulnerable and at risk young people in society.

We seek to value and respect each young person and offer holistic, inclusive provision which is person centred and needs-led.

Delivery Streams

We have shaped our work around a series of six inter-connected themes that reflect the heart of what we do and the impact we want to have in our local communities and the young people we support.

These delivery streams help us stay focused, intentional, and responsive to the real needs of young people and communities. Whether it’s through open-access sessions, targeted support, or specialist programmes, each stream is about creating real opportunities for young people to grow, connect, and thrive.
