Alongside delivering youth work from our dedicated Blend Youth Hubs, we also make extensive use of a wide range of local community spaces and buildings. Using venues such as community centres, church halls and sports facilities enables us to deliver activities in welcoming, familiar environments where young people feel comfortable and connected to their local area.
Working within the heart of our communities allows us to reach more young people, reduce barriers to participation and build stronger relationships with local residents and partner organisations. It also creates more opportunities for young people to access support, develop new skills and take part in positive activities close to home.
By making the most of existing community venues, we strengthen local partnerships, maximise shared resources and help ensure that high-quality youth work remains visible, accessible and responsive to the needs of local young people.
