Blend Youth Project is continuing to grow its support for young people across Chesterfield, with new weekly sessions now up and running in Brimington.

Based at the Parish Council Building, these sessions are already providing a safe and welcoming space for young people aged 11 to 17 to connect, be heard and build positive relationships. Just a few weeks in, it has been fantastic to begin welcoming young people through the doors and seeing the sessions take shape.
The weekly drop-in takes place every Tuesday from 7pm to 8.30pm and is open to all young people in the local area.
Blend Youth Workers have quickly made a positive impact, building strong and trusting relationships through their consistent presence and genuine approach. By creating an environment where young people feel comfortable, they are encouraging open conversations about the things that matter most, from school and friendships to challenges at home.
Through listening, understanding and offering tailored support, the team are helping young people navigate the pressures they face. With professional experience and insight into the challenges affecting young people today, they provide guidance that is relevant, supportive and empowering.

These sessions are about more than activities. They are about creating a space where young people feel safe, valued and heard, and where trusted relationships can grow.
We are excited to see the Brimington sessions continue to develop and to support even more young people in the community.
