Josh Takes on the Derby 10K for Blend

On Sunday 15 March, Josh took on the Derby 10K, raising vital funds for the Turner Farm Big Build Project, with the Blend Youth Project team there to support him every step of the way.

This was no small challenge, especially as it was Josh’s very first run. Taking on a 10K as your first event is a huge achievement, and Josh rose to it brilliantly.

Over the past year, Josh has experienced first-hand the difference the right support can make. Through Blend and his journey with Snow Camp, he has worked hard towards his goals, building confidence and resilience along the way.

Wanting to give something back, Josh signed up to take on the challenge, helping to raise money so that more young people can access the same encouragement, opportunities and support that have made such a difference in his life.

The Turner Farm Big Build Project will create new spaces where young people can feel supported, inspired and able to thrive. Every step Josh took on race day helped bring that vision closer to reality.

We are incredibly proud of Josh. Completing a 10K for the first time is an amazing accomplishment, and he truly smashed it.

Thank you, Josh, for your determination, commitment and for running in support of Valley CiDS. We are so grateful.

If you haven’t yet sponsored Josh, there is still time to support his efforts and help us continue making a real difference to the lives of young people at https://donate.giveasyoulive.com/fundraising/derby-10k
