Blend Youth Hub premises are located in Ripley, Heanor, Alfreton and Chesterfield. They provide a welcoming, comfortable and relaxed environment in which to learn. There are classrooms, kitchens, activity zones and ‘chill-out’ areas, making them well-suited for all kinds of education delivery, from personal development to more formal qualifications.
Each hub also includes recreational areas such as pool tables and table tennis, as well as opportunities to take part in active pursuits like dance, yoga, and climbing on a low-level wall. Music facilities are also available. These activities give students the chance to explore a range of leisure interests or simply reward themselves during breaks after working hard.
We deliver Personal & Social Development, a BTEC in Health & Social Care, a wide variety of short courses, AQA Unit Awards, SMSC and Maths & English functional skills from all of these sites.
