Employability
We provide employability support to help young people prepare for, access and sustain education, training and employment opportunities.
Support may include:
- Job searching and CV writing
- Completing job applications
- Interview preparation and techniques
- Exploring volunteering opportunities
- Careers and training advice
- Money management guidance
- General advice and signposting
Our aim is to build confidence, develop practical skills and increase young people’s readiness for the world of work.
Sexual Health Support – C-Scheme & C-Wallet
We work in partnership with Derbyshire-wide sexual health providers to deliver the C-Scheme and C-Wallet condom distribution schemes.
These schemes provide confidential access to free condoms, lube and dams, alongside sexual health advice and signposting for young people aged 13–19.
The scheme aims to:
- Make condoms and sexual health support more accessible
- Reduce barriers to accessing services
- Promote healthy relationships and informed choices
- Contribute to reducing unplanned teenage pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections
Registration is completed with a trained worker, and many of our staff are qualified practitioners able to register and distribute supplies appropriately.
