Workshops

We work with a variety of professionals, organisations and providers to facilitate new experiences for young people and for them to gain knowledge around issues facing them in their communities and society.

Workshops are also a great way of ensuring that learning remains fun, engaging and experiential. For these reasons we endeavour to maintain a varied menu of workshop opportunities which have included:

  • Art & Creative Expression
  • Dance & Physical Activity
  • Photography
  • Woodcraft
  • Music Performance & Production
  • Textile Upcycling

Arts & Creative Expression

Creative projects provide safe and supportive spaces for young people to express themselves, explore identity and develop new skills. Activities may include:

  • Visual arts and design
  • Photography and digital media
  • Textile and up-cycling projects
  • Film-making and content creation

Creative expression supports emotional wellbeing, encourages reflection and provides a constructive outlet for thoughts and experiences. For many young people, arts-based projects offer an accessible way to build confidence and find their voice

Music & Performance

Music projects create opportunities for collaboration, creativity and skill development. These may include:

  • Music production and recording
  • Song writing and lyric development
  • DJ workshops
  • Live performance opportunities
  • Open Mic Nights

Music provides a powerful tool for self-expression and connection. Through structured support and access to equipment, young people can explore talent, develop technical skills and experience the achievement that comes from creating and sharing their work.
